Dashavatara
Kalki
Barbarians will take over;
whole tribes will turn their
backs on dharma.
Kings will rule
by lies and greed.
They’ll kill women, children, and cows
without thinking twice.
Irreverence and lust
will spread through villages
like a plague.
A man will be judged by his clothes;
a woman will be treated as a possession.
They’ll muddy the borders of caste.
Learning will be replaced by threats
and arrogance.
Men will call an unknown thing holy
only because they don’t understand it.
All will decay and head toward annihilation.
I wait for my time.
