Nancy Goodrich began taking photography seriously at the perfect age of 60, after trying mah jongg, Chinese, and woodcarving. She is a highly-skilled thrift shopper and loves to go out to tea.
While she shoots with a small digital camera, she prints negatives to use in making Ziatypes or waxed-paper negative contact prints, so that her final image is a handmade one.
She has recently decided to become a poet and a printmaker.
Goodrich lives in Portland, CT with her kind and patient husband who has taken up photography in self-defense.
